Secrets and Clues

  • There are three veterans and spies of Parsis who operate with the troops if Ibbalan.
  • Ibbalan was given authority over the treasure vault of Blackspire on behalf of Atesha and Parsis.
  • There are about two-dozens guards, three remaining veterans, two knights, and the wyvern along with Sunray the copper dragon.
  • The furnace known as the Maw of Baal used to serve as a place to sacrifice gold to the dragon god. It hasn't been used in a long while and Baal is angry about it.
  • Several priests of Baal worship at the altar but Baal considers them heretics because they won't give him gold.
  • A shadow road lies between Nurduran and Ashadar called the Scholar's Path. It's heavily guarded and watched by agents of both Parsis and Ibbalan.
  • The Scholar's Path is used to transfer gold between Ashadar and Nurduran for the war effort in the north west.
  • Ibbalan the Illustrious is heavily engaged in the current holding of Kyprion and Rumela, taken from the Seven Cities. The battles have been costly.
  • A switchback path behind Blackspire leads to an ancient golden throne to Baal that serves as a doorway to the Scholar's Path. Two clay golems guard the path's entrance.
